Vintage stitch magazines

When the Christmas holidays quickly come to an end, for me, it's always a time to sort out my draws and shelves, ready to be organised for the New Year. I try to get rid of things I don't use or need, however one always comes across interesting things that you either forgot you had or you didn't know existed in your house. Whilst I was organising my room, my mum was also sorting out her things. I was excited when she discovered bags filled with old original stitch magazines which dated back to the 1960s. They belong to my Nanny, who used to do a lot of knitting and stitching! They were so interesting to look at, with lots of instructions and images and I couldn't believe how old some of them were. It was fascinating to look at the front covers of the magazines, as you could identify different trends of knit wear during that time period. I wonder what else my Nanny is hiding away!
